Voicello Òpera Mediterrània is the new musical proposal by the soprano Carme Garí and the cellist Gabriel Fiol for 2021.

A new project that combines his passion for music, especially classical, with the its concern to make it reach all audiences in an unexpected and innovative way. This has motivated them to create their own musical style, which they already showed at the concert Crossover Opera Pop and that with this new proposal wants to go further for thrill the audience with their own concerns and their love story.

Carme Garí shines with her vocal expressiveness, with incredible changes of register and costumes, while Gabriel Fiol impresses viewers with his innovative arrangements for the his cello accompanied by the loops pedal and a black electric cello. Miquel Marquis for his part adds the modernity of modern music with the rhythms of the battery.

Voicello 's first album won the Best Classical Album Award Balears Enderrock 2018. His music has sounded live in our Islands, the Peninsula, throughout Europe, in China and the USA. This 2021 will strip their souls in front of the audience with a much more theatrical staging and the Mediterranean Sea as the protagonist.

Carme Garí, soprano

Born in Palma. She began his piano studies at the age of 8. She moved to study singing at the Conservatory of the Liceo de Barcelona and later graduated in Classical Singing at the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña. At the same time, she obtained a Diploma in Music Education Teaching (University of Barcelona) and took numerous courses on body and voice, as well as masterclasses with prestigious singing teachers.

She has represented styles such as opera, zarzuela, contemporary music and religious music: Carmina Burana (C. Orff) in England, The Passion According to Saint John (JS Bach) in the Crypt of the Sagrada Familia, La traviata (G. Verdi) in the Palau de la Música Catalana, The tur of the Screw (B. Britten) at the Audiotrio de Barcelona,​​ Mallorca Sings Zarzuela to Madrid, etc. She has sung concerts with the renowned pianists Andreu Riera and Rumiko Harada. Gabriel Fiol, cello and composer

Born in Felanitx, Mallorca. He graduated in cello with the Extraordinary End of Degree award at the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands. He began his violin studies when he was only one and a half years old. His vocation for the cello was born in Cremona when he felt Raiffa Dantas (first cellist of the Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra) play. In Mallorca she studied with the teacher Miguel Ángel Aguiló who encouraged her to start composing.

He plays in numerous chamber ensembles and orchestras such as the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra, the Ensemble Tramuntana, etc. He has played with famous artists such as Now Malikian, Barry Sargent, Cristophe Coin, Suzanne Bradbury ... He has interpreted different musical styles such as folk, pop, jazz and rock, with Miquela Lladó, Los Valldemossa, Antònia Font, Toni Cuenca, Madeleine Peyroux, Jaume Anglada, ... He has performed in numerous auditoriums in Spain, France, England, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan and
the United States.
