Las Nits Clàssiques de la Tramuntana continues to bet on reflection on the musical event in the Balearic Islands. On this occasion, we have organized a Professional Conference dedicated to current events in the orchestras and independent instrumental ensembles sector in the Balearic Islands for this Saturday, August 14, in virtual and face-to-face format.

The event will feature two conferences of international relevance, given by the violinist and conductor Johannes Leertouwer and the specialist in historical clarinets Eric Hoeprich. Likewise, two round tables - one virtual and one face-to-face - will make it possible to establish the contours of the state in which the orchestral and instrumental ensembles are currently post-Covid.

The day also includes private mentoring sessions aimed at professional orientation and the external projection of groups and musicians from the Balearic Islands.

The day will end with the last concert of the Ensemble Tramuntana for this summer: "The birth of classicism", under the direction of Barry Sargent and with the internationally renowned clarinetist Eric Hoeprich as soloist; all with original instruments!
